Gloria Diaz

Gloria Diaz is a Senior Consultant and Strategic Partner with Revolutionary HR.  A continuous improvement expert with more than thirty years of management experience in the financial services, healthcare and government sectors, Gloria continues to lead the development and deployment of quality management systems.

 

Gloria is a certified manager of quality/organizational excellence who has led quality and organizational development efforts for a variety of organizations.  She is well known across Arizona and nationally for her expertise in total quality management, and in the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.  As a lean/process improvement professional, Gloria has served as:

  • Quality Committee, Board of Directors, Banner Health Systems

  • Vice Chair, Board of Directors, Arizona Quality Alliance; and Board member

  • Member, Panel of Judges for the AZ Performance Excellence Awards Program

  • Member, Board of Overseers for the AZ Performance Excellence Awards Program

  • Senior/Lead Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program

 

Gloria is all about process improvement. In fact, her personalized license plate – KAIZEN – speaks to her personal philosophy. Gloria says, “Kaizen is a Japanese word that translates to continuous incremental improvement. I embraced the concept ever since I first became a process improvement/lean professional more than 30 years ago because it speaks to who I am. To me, kaizen is about never accepting the status quo. Kaizen is about always looking for ways to improve – myself, the work I do, the environment around me – everything.”

A native of New York City, Gloria holds a degree in business management from St. John’s University and a professional designation as a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence from the American Society for Quality.
